Compassion Fatigue for the Empathetic Professional in the Times of COVID: Virtual - June 21-22, 2021

This virtual training is being sponsored by the HHSC Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Programs. SUD contractors have priority for this training.

This virtual workshop will address unique perspectives of the demands of providing service during a pandemic. Strategies for crisis self-screening and intervention will be explored. The intent of this workshop is to educate on the issue of Compassion Fatigue and facilitate each participant to develop a plan to identify and address Compassion Fatigue in themselves and those around them.

This virtual training provides 8 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
