Certified Family Partner (CFP) Endorsement Training: Wraparound Process: June 13-14, 2022

This virtual training is being sponsored by HHSC Peer and Recovery Services Programs. Certified Family Partners (CFP) have priority for this training.

This is a two-day virtual training in which CFPs will receive an overview of the holistic approach to involving families and their children/youth in the process of mental health recovery and wellness. Wraparound is a national evidence-based initiative used by many child serving agencies to engage families. This process helps families recognize their strengths and prioritize their action steps to reach their goals and dreams. The history and current role of the CFP in the process is imperative to family voice and choice during Wraparound.

This training meets the Texas Certification Board (TCB) Continuing Education (CE) requirements to maintain certification as a Family Partner.

This virtual training provides 12 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
