The Quality Standards Assessment is part of an initiative to enhance the quality of care provided in residential programs for children and youth. The Quality Standards Assessment is an applied framework for residential staff and leadership that provides guidelines for effective practices from admission, service planning and implementation, through discharge and aftercare. Participants will learn how to use the Quality Standards Assessment to support care quality and continuous service improvement.

Session 2 will focus on working with RTC leadership on implementing the Quality Standards Assessment in their programs and preparing programs to participate in the QSA pilot. This session is a collaborative discussion between QSA Consultants and RTC leadership.

Eligibility Requirements: You must attend Session 1 and be in a leadership position at one of the RTCs contracted with HHSC in order to attend. *Please limit attendance to 2 individuals from your agency. These 2 individuals need to attend Session 1, as Session 2 is a continuation of the conversation from Session 1.*
