Case Management, as defined by the Twelve Core Functions of Substance Use Counseling, are the activities which bring services, agencies, resources or people together within a planned framework of action toward the achievement of established goals. Service Coordination is one of Eight Practice Dimensions encompassing Case Management and it is broader than any one Core Function or Practice Dimension. It requires a comprehensive counselor skill set. In this training you will explore the variety of knowledge, skills, and attitudes involved with Case Management and discuss textbook ideas versus the real-life challenge’s that counselors must navigate in providing the best services possible to the individuals you serve.

This virtual training provides 2.75 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
