Self-Care & Self Recovery A Guide to Staying Centered While in Service to Others : Virtual - July 19-20, 2021

Webcam and audio are required for participation.

This virtual training is being sponsored by the HHSC Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Programs. SUD contractors have priority for this training.

This is a two-day highly interactive, learner centered and trauma informed virtual training. It was developed as a guide for those that work in the field to remain centered while in service to others. Peer to peer support is encouraged. Participant engagement is at each individual’s pace. This is a stress-free virtual training that invites self-reflection and gentle recognition of one’s own needs. Each participant will be provided with the supplies required for all activities.

This virtual training provides 6 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
