Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation

In this module you will learn about key elements that define abuse, neglect, and exploitation, or ANE. You will learn to identify the signs that one of these might be occurring and about the devastating impact it can have upon a person's life and well-being. The goal of this training is to equip you as a health professional to be more knowledgeable, sensitive, and confident in identifying and preventing ANE.

This eLearning module meets the HCBS-AMH Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation training requirement for Recovery Management Entities and Provider Agencies.

This course provides 0.5 hour of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this online course, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
