Co-Occurring Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders

The Texas Health and Human Servcies (HHSC) supports the integration of mental health and substance abuse services for clients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders (COPSD). These services concentrate on adopting a multi-problem viewpoint within a recovery framework. An online training is offered on this site. It is intended to replace the CD version of the COPSD course and does meet HHSC requirement for COPSD training.
