Registrants must be certified Peer Specialists (MHPS or RSPS).
This 2.0-hour continuing education training explores the unique opportunities and challenges Peer Specialists encounter as they integrate lived experience into professional practice. Participants will examine topics such as role clarity, workplace expectations, stigma, professional identity, communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and navigating organizational systems. Through discussion and reflection, participants will identify practical approaches for addressing workplace challenges while remaining grounded in peer support values, recovery principles, and the authentic use of lived experience.

Participation requires a webcam and audio. Cellphones are not allowed.
