This 3hr webinar is open to anyone who works directly with youth and families. Focus will be on application of EBP in residential care settings.

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is about improving the quality of care. Residential care programs have turned to EBPs as a means of improving the quality of care. EBP is featured prominently in the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) requirements for being a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). This workshop will introduce participants to four general approaches to EBP, and specific programs and practices that have been identified for use in residential care settings. Discussion will focus on opportunities for and overcoming obstacles in implementing EBPs.
