This virtual training is being sponsored by HHSC Peer and Recovery Services Programs.
Registrants must be certified Peer Specialists (MHPS or RSPS) and/or Certified Family Partners (CFP).
This training will consist of three core modules: Empathy, Validation, and Emotional Regulation. Participants will achieve the following Learning Objectives: Understand the definition and components of empathy; Differentiate empathy, sympathy and judgement; and Recognize how empathy builds trust.
Training Location: Zoom Meeting
Participation requires a webcam and audio. Cellphones are not allowed.
