This virtual training is being sponsored by HHSC Peer and Recovery Services Programs.
Registrants must be certified Peer Specialists (MHPS or RSPS), Peer Specialist Supervisors (PSS), and/or Certified Family Partners (CFP).
This 3.0-hour continuing education training explores the ethical responsibilities, professional boundaries, and decision-making processes essential to effective peer support practice. Participants will examine common ethical dilemmas, confidentiality, dual relationships, self-disclosure, and role clarity while learning to apply peer support values to complex situations. Through discussion and practical application, participants will strengthen their ability to make thoughtful, ethical decisions that build trust, protect relationships, and uphold the integrity of the peer support profession.

Participation requires a webcam and audio. Cellphones are not allowed.
