This self-paced online course is being sponsored by the HHSC Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Programs.
This self-paced online course was developed by the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Collaborative of the Strategic Health Alliance, a group that includes highly skilled experts as well as people who live with FASD. We want you to hear these different voices because each perspective can add value to yours. In this four-module training you are introduced to FASD, discuss the impact of alcohol use during pregnancy, and learn how to work with individuals who need help with substance use and the repercussions of FASD. This training also focuses on providing caregivers with information about what is needed to help someone get a diagnosis of FASD and how to provide FASD-Informed Care.
