An Introduction to Trust Based Relational InterventionĀ® (TBRIĀ®) Virtual: August 26-27, 2025

This training will explore how resilience is organized and reorganized in humans, focusing on the attachment processes that shape behavioral and relational systems across the lifespan. Participants will gain tools to understand how interactions with caregivers and the environment influence development and learn strategies to respond to challenges in flexible and developmentally appropriate ways. The training will examine the impact of relational trauma on the brain, body, biology, beliefs, and behaviors, with an emphasis on how trauma disrupts regulation, executive functioning, and sensory processing. Grounded in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), the training will introduce Connecting Principles to enhance nonverbal communication and self-awareness; Empowering Principles to meet physiological, environmental, and sensory needs; and Correcting Principles to address challenging behaviors through proactive and responsive relational frameworks. Participants will leave equipped to foster healing and behavioral organization in children, youth, and adults impacted by trauma.
