Leadership Series - Working with Local Government Strategic Planning to End Homelessness: August 3, 2023

This virtual training is being sponsored by the Office of Mental Health Coordination. These trainings are intended for upper-level leadership at LMHAs/LBHAs in developing strategic partnerships within the local community to increase housing opportunities for people with mental health conditions. The leadership trainings are not intended to be limited to staff working directly on housing related issues.

This session will focus on how to connect and work with your local government to enhance strategic planning efforts to end and prevent homelessness. We will highlight considerations for building partnerships to strengthen collaborative efforts. Attendees will learn how local governments are involved in the homeless response system and ways to increase collaborative efforts.

This virtual training provides 1.5 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Supported Employment Specialist. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
