This virtual training is being sponsored by HHSC Peer and Recovery Services Programs.
Registrants must be certified Peer Specialist Supervisors (PSS).
This 2.0-hour continuing education training explores the leadership knowledge and supervisory skills needed to effectively support Peer Specialists and foster recovery-oriented teams. Participants will examine leadership styles, communication, coaching, conflict resolution, performance development, and strategies for creating supportive workplace cultures grounded in respect, accountability, and collaboration. Through practical discussion and application, supervisors will strengthen their ability to develop staff, navigate workplace challenges, and lead with authenticity while promoting the values and principles of peer support.

Participation requires a webcam and audio. Cellphones are not allowed.
