This virtual training is being sponsored by the HHSC Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Programs. SUD contractors have priority for this training.
This virtual training will allow participants to conceptualize substance use disorders from a DSM-5 perspective. Participants will identify ways to differentiate between substance use diagnoses and mental health diagnoses despite overlap in symptom presentation. Participants will identify varying levels of care and treatment options for those living with co-occurring disorders based on their individual needs.
