CSC-FEP team members have priority for this training.
Social isolation is often the most damaging and persistent impact of psychotic disorders. This two-hour training centers on engagement as the “north star” of Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC), exploring how each discipline on the CSC team contributes to holistic, person-centered care. Participants will examine diagnostic complexity, suicide risk, aggression, and co-occurring substance use, alongside the importance of collaboration with primary care. The training highlights when to persist, when to leave the door open, and how role-specific, integrated interventions can reduce loneliness, strengthen connection and belonging, and support purpose in work, school, and life—while maintaining fidelity to the CSC model and contractual requirements.
