Registrants must be certified Peer Specialists (MHPS or RSPS).
This 2.0-hour continuing education training explores the importance of personal wellness, resilience, and sustainable peer support practice. Participants will examine the impact of stress, compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary trauma while identifying practical approaches for maintaining emotional well-being and professional effectiveness. Through self-reflection and discussion, participants will strengthen healthy boundaries, develop individualized wellness practices, and build resilience that supports both their own recovery and their ability to continue walking alongside others.
