Trauma Informed Care TtT Virtual: October 21-22, 2021

Training Location: Zoom Meeting

Anyone wishing to participate must have reliable internet and a device that has audio, a microphone, and a web camera.

This virtual training will prepare individuals to become trainers of Trauma Informed Care. Trauma Informed Care is an organizational structure and treatment framework that involves understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma. Trauma Informed Care also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for both individuals in treatment and providers, and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

 Ideal applicants for this train the trainer workshop include persons who are active in their community, have experience in the field of trauma informed care, disaster behavioral health response and recovery, and experience in providing training and/or successful presentations. Therefore, you must attest to the following:

1. I have at least 3 years of experience in trauma informed care and/or delivering trauma specific services.

2. I have the capacity and support needed to conduct the required 2 Trauma Informed Care Trainings within 12 months after receiving certification.

3. I agree to complete these trainings in either my local agency or community within the required time frame.

Once your Statement of Attestation has been uploaded to your www.centralizedtraining.com account, it will be reviewed and you will be notified via an email if you are accepted to be a participant in the workshop. The Statement of Attestation is made available to you on your Centralized Training account once you have registered.  

This virtual training provides 9 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Supported Employment Specialist and Certified Family Partner. Upon successful completion of this virtual training, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
